Select conﬁguration method

Conﬁguration option 1: DIP switches

e DIP switches on the circuit board can be used to change input mapping and the baud rates used for bus

1 and bus 2. ese parameters can also be changed using the two other conguration options.

Note. For each parameter, if any of the switches are turned on, that parameter is in Hardware mode. If

Hardware mode is selected, the parameter can only be congured using the switches.

Look at the gure below to see how to set the switches in order to congure the parameter. To turn a switch

on, ip it up.

Channel Input Mapping

is function lets you map two (Click

112) or four (Click 114) of the input data

channels coming from the sensor to the

output channels on the device. e out-

puts are assigned sequentially, so if you se-

lect 13–14, then input 13 will be mapped

to channel 1, and 14 to channel 2.

Baud Rate for Bus 1 and Bus 2

is function lets you set the baud rate for bus 1 and bus 2. e two buses can be congured separately. Flip

the switches up and down according to the diagram to set the baud rate for each bus.

e Click 112/114 can be congured in three ways: DIP switches, the front panel menu and Click Super-

visor. ese three dierent conguration methods can congure dierent sets of options; some of these

parameters can be set using multiple conguration methods, and some of them can only be set using one

particular method. is table lists how each

parameter may be accessed and congured.

e nal row on the table refers to congu-

ration modes. e DIP switches are used

to choose between Hardware and Soware

modes. If any of the switches are on, that

particular parameter is set to Hardware

mode and only the DIP switches can be used

to change its conguration options. If no

switches are on for a particular parameter,

it is in Soware mode and the front panel

menu and Click Supervisor must be used to

congure it.
